Any tips for removing mud on kiddie shoes? 🙁

None of the shops appear to have "the right sort of brush" to get rid the inevitable mud, I was sort of thinking about a large toothbrush... Although yesterday (much to my wife's horror) I was going to try our potato mud removing brush, looks just about right...

If you are able to wait until it drys, it knocks off really easily. Otherwise I have found that stepping the sole in really hot bowl of water and wriggling about works a treat and the rest you can wipe off. 🙂

Yep, if it's dry, then a good whack against the wall gets rid of most of it.

Best solution for the future is to rinse it off while it's still fresh.

hmmm. I try to leave the shoes by the door, thus negating the need to worry about the mud because it will have dried and walks off the next time they're used.
Having said that, I also bang the shoes together when dry (just fo the fun of it)!

Yeah, there is something satisfying about getting the dried mud off with a good thump.

Hi there

My kids think that's what the carpet is there for - and just leave a trail behind them.

My dad put them into the dishwasher!!

Not sure that either helps you!

In the Dishwasher ???? ❓ ❓ ❓

The knocking off the dry mud is very satisfying, however the shoes I'm talking about are school shoes that then need polishing... The oxo potato brush is working quite well....

My local golf club has this machine that blows out pressurised air to remove dirt etc.

That'll do the trick - not sure if you golf club would be happy though!

I am just treating it like a carpet. First, let the mud dry so you can easily remove most of them. After removing the big chunks of mud from the shoes, spray water with soap on it and brush briskly. Then, you can just leave it to dry.
