Hi All
I'm sure most of us have a story to tell about the mother-in-law! Some good, some bad and some downright diabolical!
Have you discovered the formula for dealing with these most complex of creatures? Have you got the mother-in-law from [censored], or is she an angel in disguise?
Mine lives a couple of hours drive away and unfortunately we don't see each other very often.
I love her to pieces, over the years she gave me some very good advice in dealing with
her son/my husband....very tongue in cheek though.
We get on so well that she took me on a cruise with her and we had a brilliant time.
I may not have been her first choice of wife for her son but as soon as she saw that her son/ my husband
were/are a good team I was welcomed with open arms.
So...mine is a good one and I wouldn't swap her for the world.
I don't have one as she died before I met my wife :boohoo:
My mother loves my wife though (she liked my first wife also, and loathed my second, so she's a pretty good judge of character) and they get on like a house on fire.
