Hi,
It's my Daughters 1st birthday tomorrow,, which I had presumed I would be seeing her as it falls on my visitation. However predictably my ex has told me my Daughter is very ill (again). Knowing my ex, this will continue until after her birthday and she will be miraculously better.
Would I be well within my rights to turn up at my ex's house and ask to see my daughter and give her the birthday presents I have bought her?
Also, how did other dads deal with not seeing there child on there first birthday?
Hi there
I wouldn't advise just turning up to be honest, she could cause trouble and as you have a case proceeding its better not to take any chances.
What about contacting her and asking if you can drop her presents round and wish her happy birthday.
It's rough I know but at least she is still so young and she won't remember that you weren't there. By the time birthdays become memories for her this will all be well and truly sorted.
