And I've just realised how BIG this whole thing is...
test said she's 1-2 weeks pregnant, so I'm obviously petrified of a miscarriage this early,
we'd been trying for about 6 months on and off and this is very much our first rodeo!
So my wife is 2 weeks pregnant, which apparently means 4 weeks as the docs go from last period or something?!
I'm PETRIFIED that this will be one of the 25% of all pregnancies that end in Miscarriage. Trying to remain as positive as possible.
This is our first child, we'd been trying actively for about 6 months
I'm also finally getting to grips with the MAGNITUDE of this situation, we're going to be responsible for a living breathing human! How on earth do you do that?!
Hi and welcome
Try to relax and focus on the positives, it will be a stressful time for both of you and you will need to support each other.
Have a look round our expecting section which should give you some ideas and support for the coming months ahead
Sure our Dads will be along soon to share their experiences with you.
Any questions please ask.
Congratulations and good luck
