Argh! Anyone helping their kids revise for keystage 3 sats!!! It's painful getting the grey matter going! I did manage some similtaneous equations tonight though 😉
there's life in this old boy yet!
I'm not bad at maths, but I gave up trying to help my daughter at primary school when she told me they used chunking to do division - I'd never heard of it, and she couldn't follow the way I did it.
At the other end, my son is just completing a university degree in Maths, so I don't stand a chance.
Tonight we started on geometry - now I'm I bit better at that.....
Also science - so 3 similarities and 3 differences between plant and animal cells ?
I have to admit the Letts and gcp revision guides as sooooo useful!
Decimals and fractions! But mum is on the case tonight - and hence why I'm lounging on the forum 😉
When my daughter was studying these we found the BBC bitesize site really useful - and I do mean we as it was useful for me to try the tests out in private beforehand , so I looked like I knew what I was talking about 😆
