I would value advice regarding school contact .
My son joined a new school (secondary)and there is a parent school portal online .
I contacted the school for the login details and they replied that they sent the information to the primary contact .
I will have to contact my ex wife but if she doesn’t give to me where do I go next .?
Go back to the school or the council or is the obliged to give me the login details . I have parental responsibility but no court order .
Go back to the school
I did this an get all the info independently of my ex.schools are quite used to doing this
Thank you - they should give independent access.
One thing if they ask for proof of Parental Responsibility - what do I give as I have nothing from a Court . I am on the birth certificate and we were married - is that enough ?
Yes, being named as the father on the birth certificate is proof.
You should have access and you are also entitled to copies of her school reports
