The Young Greenwich Parenting Support Programme is a FREE service aimed at parents of children aged 10- 19, (or up to 25 if your child has SEND), who live in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Its purpose is to empower, support and champion parents by giving them the tools to improve their wellbeing and relationships with their teenagers.
The program offers a range of services including:• Topic focussed group sessions• Peer- support groups• 1-2-1 family coaching sessions• 1-2-1 counselling sessions for parentsWe provide a non-judgemental space for parents to connect, share and grow together. Our approach is unique because it’s less focused on your ‘parenting style’, and more on YOU as an individual; what you need, what drives you and what can support you to be a happier person and parent.
Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, all sessions will initially be taking place online via Zoom. In person sessions will take place only once we feel we can provide safe environments which are compliant with government guidance. The dates and times for group sessions will be confirmed in due course.
For more information or to register for this amazing, free service, send an email to parenting.support@metrocharity.org.uk and they will aim to contact you within 5 working days.
