hello All,

Im after a little help. does anyone know if the government have conducted any research into what a child learns from his/her parents may affect them at a later date?

E.g. if a mother or father is in constant trouble with the police, drugs etc could this affect them when growing up?

Thanks for any replies and help you may offer. :cheer:

I don't know about government research but in my opinion children learn by example. If their parents are constantly at odds with the laws and norms of society then this could have quite an impact on them growing up. The odds that they would take the same path are greatly increased, as they would see it as normal behaviour.

I smoked when my children were growing up, they both started smoking as teenagers and I consider that it was because they saw me doing it.
