In this world of technology it was very refreshing to watch my two kids (13 and 10) spend the whole afternoon designing and building a trebuchet and catapult out of the wood lying around from the building site next door (with the builder's permission!!!)
I was nervous when the eldest asked to use the jig-saw and I was on hand to supervise them but the finished products were great. There is no greater satisfaction than building something and they got loads out of it, learning to use different tools.
Great fun for all
Hi Mario,
That sounds like great fun - was it anything like this one ? trebuchet film
Its amazing how much fun doing is rather than playing video games and facebooking - A healthy balance between the two is great.
