Hi I'm a dad of 2 boys with an ex partner . I was just wondering if anyone else may have had the same and what I could do about it .
I work as a coach driver so I get irregular days off with my work and my ex partner has decided that untill I can commit 2 days a week to my boys she has stopped me seeing them . Problem with that is my job I could get 1 day one week and 3 the next it all depends on the work available. I was just wondering what I can do to see my boys all barring changing my job
Many thanks shane
Hi if she won't agree to working around your shift pattern, the first step would be mediation. If you still can't agree then you can make an application to the court for a Child Arrangement Order. A court would take into account your shift pattern.
Attempting mediation before applying to court is mandatory.
