Hi all,

Today we have made some upgrades to the forum. You'll notice that the login fields are in a slightly different place - though a lot more has gone on behind the scenes.

This upgrade/change is the first step towards fully intergrating the forum and the rest of the dadtalk site. The main benefit you'll notice is that you will be able to go between the forum and the site any number of times without being automatically logged out.

If you have any questions regarding these changes please post to this thread and we will try to answer.

Threw me for a moment - and if you click on the 'login' just above the name/password input, it still refers to the top of the page.

May have a problem - I don't get the username and padlock when going in directly with <!-- l index.php<!-- l (which is how I usually get here as I have this saved as a fvourite)

Cool - your sorting your issues out without the help of moderators 😀

sorry if we (the mods) have been missing on this board since the upgrade, one of the features of the changes was we were unable to view the helpdesk boards 😆 Rest assured we are back (in my best Arnie voice).

Some of your original favourites/shortcuts/bookmarks may have to be update as Babel has mentioned.

Well done Babel thanks for covering for us.

Gooner :ugeek:

Oh, problems again - used the link above to go directly to the forum - showed my username at the top (I have it set to remember me on this machine), but when I tried to reply to this topic, it told me I had to log in to reply. Only way I could post this reply was to log out and log back in again.

Hi,

Just to say the bookmarking, and lack of login / logout boxes should all be sorted now. Please say if you can find a way of displaying a forum page with no login / logout area.

actd - did your issue with remebering your login continued? If it does it might be a configuration "feature"..

Thanks,
