Hi there my wife has admitted having an affair and im gutted as weve been together for 20 year, married for 13 and 2 kids 8 and 11 now its getting messy, i clear 4500 a month and want to know what ive to pay her and kids maintenance, she broke the marriage contract .we live in scotland. Any tips or loop holes please let me know.thanx
Hi
If you google CSA calculator and fill out the on line form you can work out what you need to pay towards your childrens maintenance.
I don't think looking for loop holes would be the best option, You need to ensure your children don;t go without no matter what you wife has done, your children don't need to suffer for it.

I agree - looking for loopholes is not the way forwards. Initially, look at mediation if possible, and be prepared to give a little more than you might think is fair - it could save you a lot more than that in legal fees.
The CSA calculator will give you a good idea of what to pay, but the rules are changing, and I think, with your income, you could end up paying more under the new rules that under the existing.
