Guys
If you want some blokes times (once a fortnight) and occasionally do some good in your community check out www.roundtable.co.uk . They are not the masons, they are aged between 20-45 and is an instant circle of male friends in your town.
Mods- thank you for allowing this. I promise this is for a not for profit organisation, who would love to shake off the image which it has had for the past 30 years.
What exactly do you mean by bloke times ? Can you give some more details ?
Hi
We know how hard it is these days for dads to meet other dads and to socialise with them. I certainly can't go into a pub and start talking to the person next to me spontaniously.
It used to be easier to go for a pint after work however my office is 100 miles away and I simply cannot do that (I generally work from home)
So Round Table fills that void for me. I know once every fortnight I can go out and have some me time, talking b*ll*cks to other blokes. Have an indepth conversation about Top Gear, whether Harry Rednap should be the next England manager, or is the Ashes a forgone conclusion this year.
go to the website www.roundtable.co.uk - click on club finder and see what you local Round Table is doing.
If you happen to be in Bewdley in Worcestershire, you will see me the 1st and 3rd Tuesday night.
Have just looked up my local, thanks for the idea! will pop along and see what happening. 😀
Excellent suggestion - you could also try taking up a hobby (is there anything you've always wanted to do, or did when you were younger and then gave up?) and find out it's done locally.
thxs would have never though of this already applied so some one can get in contact 😀
ok well looks like it paid off i have been roped in to doing a children in need charity fundraising run around my local to town and may have to dress up as pudsey bear bit worried but shall let u all know how i go
Well Kingfort you can't just get away with telling us - we want pictures!!!
.
well, the post before yours is over a year old, so probably fizzled out.
