Lego is amazing - I remember going to my Gran's and she had a giant box of lego under the stairs.

My brother and I would then just build things in the "front room" - the room that was never used!!

We were always upset when we returned four months later to find she had put it all away!!!

Happy memories

My Girlfriend and her son are huge lego fans, they love the starwars lego, they are both starwars geeks and drag me around the shops looking at the starwars comics and lego stuff..........

..........i'm sure that it's normally guys dragging partners and kids around stores like that πŸ˜†

It does give me a great way of bonding with her son though as we can sit and build things.

The one thing I don't understand though is why lego had to make weapons like swords knives and guns lego used to be about imagination and what you could build but it seems to have turned into which weapon would kill the lego man the best πŸ™„

I know as kids we would use the block to make gun's ect but we used our imagination to do it and they were't as aggressive as they are now pre made

God I used to have a lorry load of Lego - used to love the stuff. I used to build my own little towns and use my cars within it too. Brings back so many memories.
