We're off to the Lake District to stay in a caravan and to go for plenty of walks in the gorgeous countryside.

I have to say this looks like a brilliant idea - would have loved this to have been around a couple of years ago.

However, please don't enter me into the draw as I don't need to now 🙂

We are not going anywhere this year. We discussed a camping trip, but decided against it in the end.

Been to NZ on our big holiday this year in January. We are very lucky to live on the Isle of Wight though so no better place to spend the summer.

We have not been able to plan a holiday up until the very last moment, for various reasons. I am glad to say however that I managed to book a week in Ilfracombe starting on Saturday. That only gives 1 week to prepare but I think that adds to the excitement. The kids are thrilled and with it being so last minute seems to make it all the more special.

What a great idea! It would have saved us a fortune on childrens booster seat hire on holiday in Spain this year . They charge by the day and with 4 children it certainly mounts up 😉

Just a week in Devon on a caravan holiday for me and the kids this year. If the weather is sunny that would be nice.

We had a holiday at Centreparcs at Sherwood Forest earlier this year and hoping to go back again in the next couple of weeks for a long weekend. There is nothing better for the family than getting out into the countryside and the amenities there are outstanding.

we havent had the best of luck financially this year so may not be able to go on holiday as such but we have been exploring local natural areas such as woods etc and sending the kids off with a packed lunch (an adventurers sack or a muscle meal we have to call them!hehe!) with their dad! 😀

No real hol this year...had a few days out at local events/parks, etc - which were surprisingly good! Just had a baby boy join the family...so cant see any more holidays for a while....but then again - depending on how you do it....heading off to the shopping centre can be a good day out for all!! 💡
