Hello All
I work for a drug/alcohol charity called Adfam which works to improve life for families affected by substance use. We are running a free information evening for parents who are worried about their child's club drug use. We use 'club drugs' to refer to legal highs including herbal products and synthetic substances, and illegal drugs commonly consumed in pubs, clubs and bars such as mephedrone (m-cat, meow meow), ecstasy (MDMA) and powder cocaine.
The evening will run in Kensington and Chelsea Hospital, 5th September, from 5-7.30pm and include a focus session where Adfam will listen to your experiences and concerns and use this learning to improve future support and information.
It will also include a chance for you to ask the head of the Club Drug Clinic Dr. Owen Bowden-Jones, one the UK?s preeminent experts on club drugs, any questions you have.
If you would like to attend please email me at o.standing@adfam.org.uk.
Thank you all.
