how interesting/strange or comical can some social workers be ? lol , im currently going for custody of my son as i believe he would be better off in many ways living with me and my girlfriend , theyre are a number of issues which lead me to this decision , he is already on a child protection plan for neglect , he has language and speech development problems which was due to him moving around the country due to his mom running, and not attending nursery/infant school , he was picked up by police at 5.30 in the morning by police walking the streets and returned to his mother who was sleeping , since ive been seeing him again he has turned up to my house wearing his 6yr old sisters underwear , his mother has admmitted to social services she has hit him and yet they believe its better for him to stay theyre as hes had alot of upevil in the last 2-3 years . Social services make me laugh , when he was picked up by police i didnt hear about this until 10 hours later , how can social services not involve a parent who isnt the main carer of a child with something like this until hours later ? i made a complaint and theyre was an internal investigation and nothing happened , i was told i can have a seperate investigation if i wanted and i did , while this investigation was taking place i attended a core group meeting regarding my son and i was told by the social worker who failed to inform me about my sons dissapearance that she would be know longer working on the case lol . After the meeting i phoned up her team leader and asked if the reason she wouldnt be on the case was due to my complaints? i was told no comment , i asked did you (team leader ) know she was leaving ? i was told no comment , i asked did she follow the correct protocol regarding contacting me 10 hours later after my son was found ? i was told no comment , hilarious !!!!!!!!! The investigation hit a brick wall due to the fact that the social worker could not be interviewed as she no longer worked for the social services, coincedance or cover up ? You decide , all i know is that some social services have had reports and unfortunately the dealings ive had/having with them i agree .
