My 11yr old son came to stay with me on 27th Dec as his mum was struggling with his behavioural issues, on 2nd Jan I submitted a C100 application after hearing the horror stories re my ex and her boyfriend ( drug taking, not even having a bed, physical abuse, always being shouted at, constantly doing chores, going to bed at the same time as 3yr & 6yr siblings 6.30 pm, I could go on) his mum claims he had a heart op at G.O.S.H on 15th Dec, she posted it on Facebook, she also says he has adhd, autism, and severe learning difficulties.
I have spoken to both his primary and secondary schools who haven't had any paperwork re. Autism & adhd and both say he does not have any learning difficulties.
I have spoken to his consultant at G O S H and he had an angiogram in Dec. He doesn't need an op.
I contacted the police who gave me a crime no.
His mum filed a C100 on 8th Jan and has a court hearing on 19th Jan.
I haven't heard a thing about my application apart from email confirmation
What do I do now
If she has lied about all of those other things do you think she could have lied about the c100 and court date etc? It seems like a possibility without hard evidence, and if she had submitted a c100 then I am under the assumption you should have been contacted regarding the court hearing also as there would have to be serious reasons you weren't contacted.
I myself submitted a c100 at the beginning of October and had a court date of 2 weeks later and the mother was contacted and invited to the court date also
Forgot to say, you could always call the court and ask them. I know you don't have a case number but you could ask them if your name is down to appear in court via remote hearing etc
I had the court papers in the post yesterday
Write yourself out a personal statement and prepare yourself for court then! It'll be remote hearing so video or phone call. I had a mckenzie friend for my first hearing but I feel it was a waste of money for me personally as they didn't tell me anything I hadn't found out on this forum and also the judge did not allow them into the meeting.
Not sure on your financial situation, if you'll be self representing or hiring a solicitor etc.
I've had an emergency court hearing myself and have my first directions coming up next month so at the moment I only have experience of the emergency hearing
hi,
phone or email court to find out whats happening. i think you should turn up for the hearing on 19th jan if nothing changes. have you paid for your application yet? if not, better to hold off.
Paid fee on 6th Jan
