hi there my ex accused me of domestic violence in court and cafcass recommended I go on a dvpp. At the minute I got only indirect contact with kids due to them saying I am high risk.
I am about to finish my dvpp course and going to reapply to court for contact with kids will cafcass got involved again and do section 7 report again to check if my risk has reduced towards the kids and their mother.
your lucky you got indirect contact...i had no safeguarding issues and mum said she would rather wait for section 7 before allowing any contact...and the magistrates agreed!!
well I am about to finish my dvpp course will the judge order a new section 7 report of cafcass
Hi,
I cant give any solid advice but if you have complied with the court order and you can show you have learnt something from the course then there should be no reason the judge wont let the case progress. I was in a similar situation 18 months ago, i refused to go on a DVPP course so they threw the case out.

If your proceedings are still ongoing, it will be a decision to be made at the next hearing.
If your proceedings have finished, you would have to re apply.
