Hi all,
I've had some great responses in the past when I have been dealing with various issues, i'm hoping I get a similar response in this thread.
My daughter lives with her mum and I have a child arrangements order to see my daughter 2 days a week and certain days over the holiday period.
My ex-partner (daughters mum) is now living with a new gent who I believe has a history of domestic violence. Not too long ago, the individual in question was all over social media with pictures of his girlfriend at the time (who was black and blue). I believe this was followed up with the police.
My question is, can I use Clare's law to obtain the new boyfriends criminal history in relation to his domestic violence offences, on behalf of my daughter - who could potentially be at risk?
Regards,
Andy
I would speak to the DV officer at your local police station and see what they advise.
