hi looking for a bit of advice
the ex has a new man and I know nothing about him he is in contact with my son
what checks can be made by myself to make sure my son is safe
speaking to the ex about this wont happen as only contact is through emails and its a constant battle to see my son as it is
thanks in advance
hi ,,, not sure if the claires law works the same way for men.... but it would be up to the police to answer that question. As for general information , if you are his rightful dad then do everything to ensure you are always kept up todate with as much information possible.
EG check with local social services... Ask school to send you reports and parents evening meeting, contact the local heath authorities including your sons gp ( School Health)
last place an order for contact with the court and checks will automatically be made.
I hope others can help more
