Will wait and see what happens and contact the person handling it after this 2 week deadline. Frustrated as I really want it all sorted.
Can you contact the person dealing with it and ask what happens if the mother remains silent with regard to your offer?
If she's sensible she'll accept the offer, but I really can't advise what would happen if she doesn't, again I would direct this question to the person dealing with it. All the best
