Let me just check, we are in the 21st century aren't we?
I have just got involved in the CSA process and am astounded at how they work.
I arranged that they would take payment on the 22nd of each month, and the first payment was indeed taken from my account on 22nd August, but here we are 3rd September, TWELVE DAYS LATER, and the money has yet to reach my exes account!!!! How is that possible in this day and age, and more to the point, how is an agency whose sole purpose is to ease the tensions between couple over financial matters able to justify such a delay???
I'm sure I'm not alone in receiving contact from the intended recipient on each one of those days asking where the money is and why have I cocked this up as well (as we know, all holdups on any issue become 'YOUR fault') and surely the CSA should recognise the problems that this will cause and do something about their processes to improve things.
The rest of the world seems to be able to transfer money the same day nowadays, how come the CSA cannot manage to do it in the same WEEK, in fact, the same MONTH!!!!!
PS - Before anyone suggests working days and/or bank holidays, it has still been SEVEN working days since the money was taken and not yet delivered.
#notgoodenough (as I believe the youngfolk would put it!)
What have the CSA said about this? It could be issues with setting up the payments, and once done, will start to be paid more promptly.
