Having no contact with my daughter or her mother for over 2 years is there a way to find out when I should stop paying mutually agreed child support. My daughter is soon 17 yrs and currently attends 6th form. That's as much as I know of her current/future plans.
I reckon 18 is best and then just stop without any messages
If your ex opens a case its rare they will pursue if they are 18,HOWEVER if she opens a case randomly before then they proberly won't close case till age 20 as mother may tell CMS they are studying
@jeremymeeks1 Thanks for the reply. In that case It would be wise to bank payments into a savings fund from when my Daughter turns 18 to cover me in any event.
Most definitely mate very wise way to think use a separate bank account to sort child maintenance unexpected 2 year surprise.
I use my yearly bonus and put in separate and every time I pay 260 I then transfer 260 to myself haha
