I would try to call them for an update so see what they say.
Just an update to this, I contacted child support and they got back to me a few days later and told me that my ex is no longer getting child benefit.
I still owe 7k debt anyway down from 12k. CSA fault not mine and they have admitted it. I've even got a copy of the recorded calls to them admitting it. So they have been flexible with the debt payments letting me clear them off in my own time. I was paying £300 a month inc arrears payments and this is now half what it was at £150 a month.
It's just a shame my ex wasn't forth coming in letting them know CB payments had stopped and was happy to take the £180 a month extra I was paying. They've back dated and took the extra payments off the debt
that's great to hear so very soon you can put this all to bed once and for all.
