My wages have increased since I left my girlfriend, who I have 2 kids with! I already pay just under 500£ a month to her! How do the csa check up how much I'm getting paid?? I transfer her money to her bank! Will they still check? I basically pay for her and her new boyfriends rent and they are probably better off than me! I would prefer to keep my pay rise so I can treat my kids rather than her getting all the credit when it's my money she treats them with!!
Hi There,
.
If you are with CSA still, it's down to you to inform them of any changes to your income, so you should contact them and allow them to re calculate your payment.
.
That is the same as with CMS the newer service, however CMS can gain access to HMRC data so they would be able to see your income.
.
You do have an obligation to pay a percentage of your income to your ex, and that isn't dependant on what income they have coming in.
.
GTTS
If your wage increase is less than 25% then the CMS will not recalculate until the annual review.
You can use this to tool to find out what you would have to pay.
