[Solved] Visitation

Good morning,

I am now a matter of weeks from having my first child and so excited. However my ex partner has gone from saying that I can see my child when ever to now only saying I can see my child every other weekend. i understand that at the early stages that our child can not have over night visits. However surely there must be something where a father can have greater rights and more visitation than fortnightly?

Regards

Is

Bear in mind that at the moment, your ex's hormones will be all over the place, so don't push for too much at the moment. If possible support her through the final stages, it might help to persuade her that you are a stable father. If she doesn't change her mind after the birth (or a reasonable period after), then you will need to try mediation, but bear in mind also that at first, the baby is going to be very dependant on the mother.
