[Solved] University and child maintenance

My son is 19 and started at university in September (over six months ago). He has a student loan and maintenance grant. I am still paying maintenance, but want to put the money in his account not the ex's. No one from the CSA has contacted me and I cannot find any information online. I know from experience that the CSA often give the wrong advice so know it will be a waste of time asking them.

If he's doing a degree at university, you should have stopped paying ,maintenance last september. I'd comtact the CSA asap.

University is advanced education and therefore you should not be paying maintenance to the mother. If you want to help your child, that's now a matter between you and them.
