hi guys i feel like im batting my head against a brick wall here i am in the middle of being re-assessed by the CSA and have just found out whilst im on the old CSA system the calculations still are dated back in the 1990's the adviser informed me the calculations were still on them petrol prices which were 60.9p litre then and as you well no they average £1.28 litre now i travel approx 2600 miles commuting to and throw from work and they tell me i can have an allowance of £39 weekly which doesn't even cover half a tank of fuel
i was told i was to pay £128 weekly on my new assessment then i told her what about my travel to work costs?
she came back and said after working it out it still comes back as £128 so i get nothing. even though i do 650 miles a week and this is without the 350 mile round trip at weekends to pick the kids up.
is it time to start to start living off benefits cause it certainly does not pay to work
I don't know anything about the CSA1 system - it might be worth asking for their calculations, and then possibly seeing your MP
yeah have already contacted my MP waiting for reply now
