Hello everyone! π
I recently had a call from the new child maintenance people.
They told me they had received my requested wage slips in 2014 and i was now transferred to the new system and they were in the process of recalculating my payments.
The next thing i am being told i have underpaid since they received the wage slips in 2014 and i am now nearly Β£11,000 in arrears??
I pay by deduction of earnings order, have always paid that way and have never missed payments.
I dont understand how they can receive my wage slips, put me on the back burner until they transfer me over (over 2 years it took), then expect me to pay the difference for that time period?
Are they allowed to do that?
Thank You in advance π
Adrian.
Hi
Welcome to the forum.
I would suggest that you ask them for a breakdown of everything and then contact your local CAB or MP's office to get some help with the matter.
Best wishes
Hello, yes i will be contacting CAB, i didnt realise CAB dealt with this sort of thing someone else has told me this today too π
