Can I subtract my self-employment losses from my gross employment income and use that as a base for child maintenance?
Details:
I got a job for two days a week that give me about £700-800 a month. At the same time, I work as self-employed from home and currently produce a loss of £250 a month (home office expense). I pay maintenance directly to my ex based on my gross monthly income. CMS is not involved at the moment.

Hi yes you could deduct losses and expenses if you like. Easier to do as you have private maintenance  arrangement
