Good afternoon, I have a son age 14 who I have been raising alone since he was born. His father has been paying a reduced rate of CMS now of reduced rate. And has only declared to CMS that his earnings over these years were a very low 8.5k however after doing some digging I've found his company details which state he pays himself via dividends of 60k each year and has 100k in company assets in his bank. I've been financially struggling all these years with little finances from my ex. I have applied to CMS giving them the information I've found, and they are now doing a notional income variation. May I ask what the whole process is from here? and if there will be any backdated payments? as my sons missed out now for 4 years, whilst I've had to work as many hours as possible to try and provide for him alone all these years. It's hard to know my ex has intentionally hid his income all these years, knowing it's affected his sons quality of living, and my health for working 50 hours a week. If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.
Hi,
Am not sure what happens next, but you can contact CMS for an update.
