Child maitenence are still sending me letters billing me for maintenence payments even though ive not been working in the last 3 months, i phoned them up and they said i need to provide proof im not working, my last pay slip, i provided it and they rejected it, so im still getting charged as if im still working [censored], they can look into hmrc and see i havent been working so i dont understand how they can be doing this, anyone on here have any info on this? would be appreciated.
hi,
did your employer send you any letter, like one about termination/leaving work? if so, that should be good enough evidence to send to CMS. if your still out of work, may be good idea to apply for Universal Credit. to CMS that is also enough evidence to prove your out of work.
