I was made redundant back in February and had to claim redundancy from government.

When money was paid child maintenance decided i have to pay 240 a month and everytime i call them they tell me its a mistake because im on benefits but here i am 4 months later being told on the online portal that i have to pay.

Child maintenance give me different excuses everytime, it could be hmrc gave the info for last years earnings or universal credit changed my claim (which isn't true) there has not been a single change apart from my notice pay.

Hi,

If you think their assessments are wrong, then suggest you take the complaints route, and involve your MP.

I recommend you join this support group for paying parents, very useful:
