Hi guys,
I am hoping someone can give me some guidance please. Apologies if this has been asked before and is on some thread elsewhere, but new to this forum.
I have a couple of queries:
1. I supposedly have an arrears from before 2001 with the CSA which I am disputing and also this rolled over past 2001.
2. The last correspondence I had was in December 2007 as I had disputed it and they were looking into it and never heard from them for over 6 1/2 years.
3. In 2007 they placed a liability order for the portion of alleged arrears after 2001, which was never invoked at the time.
Here are my questions:
1. The portion prior to 2001 can they still try to take this through a DOE?
2. Is the liability order from 2007 still legally binding as it has no validity date on it, only when it was passed through the court?
3. The alleged arrears are over 6 1/2 years old and having not heard from them until recently, are they legally allowed to still take it through a DOE, as I thought it would be statute barred as such.
Any help or guidance on this is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your support.
Cheers
David
