Hi all, just after some advice as to whether this is correct or anything can be done about it.
I have recently started a new job after being unemployed and informed the CMS of my new salary, start date and when I get paid (last working day of the month)
As I started employment halfway through the month, I will only receive half of the monthly income this month, yet the CMS have still said I'm liable to pay the full amount, based on my full salary?
I queried this and they have said it's taken over 12 month period from the start date, but they are expecting me to pay based on money I haven't received? So for example I will receive £1000 at the end of this month, rather than the full £2000, yet still expected to pay £280 (the figure based on full salary)
Hi,
Can you ask if you can pay maintenance at the end of each month, like the 25th? That way going forward from 2nd month of payments, should make it more manageable.
