My daughter 16 is apparently registered to college, we have no proof of this and college will not tell us anything, so how do CMS know if my daughter is actively studying? CMS are not great to talk to as they just tell me different things to get me off the phone faster. My daughter has not put my contact down so im not told anything just expected to pay and iv not seen her for 2 years. Can some one offer any advice or their experience on what the steps are, as im new to all this and im mentally struggling as well as financially. Thank you everyone.
hi, CMS are very systematic. As long as your ex continues to receive child benefit, you will be expected to carry on paying maintenance.
heres a good video about it all https://youtu.be/rU-HtLHOxqg?si=f89qLcg2-CzpbvWR
