Gents.
Im new to this forum and have a question to ask.
Im having to "rent a room" out in my house to help pay for spiraling Mortgage Costs and are charging the £550 a month, do I have to inform Child Maintenance about this income, being as though they are allowed to "look into your bank accounts" at any time (Which I don't agree with).
I don't really want to disclose it, however, I get the feeling that I'll have to.
Can anyone give me a "definitive" answer please, so that I know where I stand on it
Many Thanks
I would suggest you contact CMS and ask them the question - you might as well know what the position is, rather than have it come back to bite you. Make sure they know that the income is not taxable (assuming you are below the threshold).
