Hi all
just wanted some guidance on this
my daughter who lives with my ex is starting university in September 2023, we have a private child maintenance in place that was agreed between me and the ex,
Can I stop this once my daughter starts university? And can my ex claim anything through CSA after this?
knowing the type of person she is, our agreement isn’t much tbh (monthly) and I have a feeling she will go though CSA to back date the claim
is that possible? Because once my daughter starts university I wanna pay her directly to help with books and soo on (not paying university fees)
Hi, under CMS rules child maintenance would end once child starts advanced education. Suggest you make final payment in September. If she goes to CMS they are unlikely to open a case.
