[Solved] Pay Rise

Hi

Do I have to inform the CSA if I have a small pay rise or Bonus?

I have looked at the CSA website and it states the below

"the paying parent’s income changes (for Child Maintenance cases you only need to tell the service if there is an increase or decrease of 25% or more in the paying parent’s gross weekly income)"

I dont want to get myself in arrears by not telling them but the statement above seems to say I do not have to inform them.

Thanks in advance

I'm sure that's the case, but you can give them a call anyway, just to put your mind at rest.

You definitely do not need to tell them if your current gross salary in not more than the previous figure by at least 25%.

I agree - and bear in mind that the 25% increase will be from the last time they calculated, so even if you don't have to tell them now, a few years of accumulating pay rises might take you over the 25% in the future
