I pay CSA direct from my wage to the resident mother.
My 18 yr old started a (lv 3 diploma) paid apprenticeship which she only attends college for 6-9 hours, so 1 day a wk.
Its come to light that maybe i shouldn't have been paying CSA with it not being ft education and instead paid employment.
Can you someone enlighten me. As i was fobbed of by CSA, told to ring in Oct when payments end also that I would need to prove my child is doing a paid apprenticeship??
The mother will happily continue to take, take, take, even fraudulently, by falsely claiming CB. I would much rather support my child directly than her benefit from it.
Can someone clear up this question for me.
You would need to find out if what your child is doing is classed as advanced or non-advanced education. If your daughter is getting any money from this, it will probably be a very nominal amount, literally a couple of pounds an hour. Probably wouldn't even cover her travel costs.....
