[Solved] Old Rules and New Rules

Hello

I have shared care agreement and I am currently paying on old rules - 13 years now.

Given changes to the CSA can I now safely assume that the CSA can no longer ask for details of my mortgage, household bills etc and only my income?

I've asked someone from CMO if they are able to pop on and give an opinion - may be worth ringing the CSA for clarification though.

Hi wirral.

Thank you for your post. I am William the Child Maintenance Options consultant.

We are a different organisation to the Child Support Agency (CSA), but I will try and point you in the right direction.

You mention that you currently pay child maintenance through the CSA's old rules. If there is a change in the way your child maintenance is calculated the CSA will contact you. However, you will need to speak to the CSA directly to discuss your case. Their contact details can be found on any letter they have sent you, or this website http://www.gov.uk/child-support-agency provides their contact details.

To find out more about how Child Maintenance Options can help you visit cmoptions.org or call us free on 0800 988 0988 between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday or 9am and 4pm on Saturday.
