i had a " 2 nite relationship " with a lady about 15 years ago- we were both in long term relationships at the time , she fell pregnant dna has been done and proven the boy is my son.
but in the 15 years i have had nothing to do with him , as this was her request aswell.
now hes aged 15 she has made a claim for csa and they want £7 per week.
i no this isnt a lot but i recently went on esa due to depression and anxiety and cannot work, i receive £142 a fortnight and £20 per week child benefit for my daughter who is 16 in may. - i do not receive child tax credits for my daughter as it was suspended because someone keep reporting saying she doesnt live with me. - i havent received tax credits since aug 2013.
i am now in debt with gas elect, rent etc and can barely afford to live on what money we have, i cant even buy my daughter new uniform..
i explained this to the lady from the csa when she called but my financial problems are not taken into account
i worried how do i pay £7 a week to a son ive never had a relationship with or even been allowed to and how do i still provide for my daughter and keep a roof over our heads
please any advice i will be very grateful
from a very worried father

I don't think there's anything you can do about it, the £7 odd is taken straight from your benefits

You could look at it this way you've not had to paid for 15 years.

You should have received tax credits after they suspended it and investigated it if she was living with you

Sorry cant help any more but like I said about they do deduct straight from the benefit

As Huxley says, there's not a great deal you can do about the maintenance for your son.

However I really do think you should pursue your entitlement to the tax credits for your daughter. That were taken from you. I would advise you go to your local CAB office and ask them to help. The DWP do have an appeals process and the CAB will be able to help you with this. I would also consider writing to your MP about this too.

Good luck
