Hello. I logged into CMS today by chance to download my latest letter, I'll make up the figures but the latest letter on my account was from 1st Jan this year and had a full payment schedule listed until November of this year of lets say £100 per month.

I however spotted in the little payments box you have on the home screen a completely different figure, lets say £250 a month and when I drill into this, apparently should have been paying this for quite a few months!!

There isn't any letter listed on my account and I've received absolutely NO communication from them about this. And I'm fairly confident that the mother has also not received a letter because... Well... I'd know about it!

My review will be due in October and I'm expecting a rise anyway but anyone had a similar experience they could share some wisdom on?

Whilst I can make the 'new' monthly payments work - I absolutely couldn't afford to add on the additional missed in some form of arrears

hi,

CMS are focusing more on digital/online services. but its very silly if they made changes to your payment and did not send you email or SMS about it. in your account can you check your contact preferences and make sure phone number and email are up to date, and selected to receive messages.

as you now have arrears , you can call them and tell them that your struggling to pay, and can the arrears payments be made over longer period. they usually give people 2 years to repay it, to make more affordable.
