My 16 year old daughter has had a baby and still lives with my ex partner . Where does this leave me with paying csa please?

I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that one.  CSA is payable if the child is in full time education but it seems she may not be.  I would imagine that if your daughter is claiming benefits then you don't need to pay CSA but that might be wrong.  Can you call and ask?

@champagne Yeah thanks, I thought I'd ask here first before I contact the csa. My ex has hidden this from me for 18months so I suspect somethings not right. I will give them a call.

I was in exactly the same situation... And the cms closed the case as you Cannot be a recipient of child benifit for a child and still have someone claim child benefit on you.  In other words.. Your daughter can claim child benefit for their child but the mum cannot then claim child benefit for your daughteras well.

@hula Yeah thanks. They've closed the case now so I don't pay anymore plus she's started work.

@spacebass so not only has she made you continue paying maintenance, but she's also hidden from you the fact that you have a grandchild!!
