Do not let them into your house - so do not open the door to them, do not open even a window downstairs, as any of this can be classed as allowing them access - either speak to them through the letterbox, or from a window upstairs. Speak to either citizens advice bureau or stepchange.org (debt management charity) for advice (do not go to any organisation that charges you for managing your debt). The debt needs to be paid, so you have to face that, but you need to arrange a way of doing this that will be accepted by CMS. If you avoid it, then eventually, the court can appoint a bailiff, and I believe that they then have a right to force entry into your home.
