[Solved] Maintenance payment age??

Hi, could anyone explain to me what age I need to make payments till.
My two girls (16 and 17 years old) have both left full time education, one is in employment (unsure if it's full time or part time) and the other is doing dog walking for 6 pound an hour.
I phoned the CSA/CMS today to say they are no longer in education and to ask what happens about payments and they have told me I need to carry on paying till they are both 20 years old or have stopped receiving child benefit. (I was under the impression child benefit stopped at 16?)
They then said they would phone my ex partner to inform her that I had reported them. I asked why would they do that only for them to say that was their policy ??? Why??? I just think that's going to cause unnecessary trouble.

Basically, it's due as long as child benefit is payable - if she's claiming fraudulently, then you could report her for that, but I'm afraid that until that stops, you are still liable.
