hi!
Could do with some advice!! I'm separated from my wife and will be divorced any day now, but would like some advice on child maintenance for my two older children who are both still in education in college.
My son is 19 and is studying in college and still lives with his mum, I've been paying Maintenance for him as he is still under 20. he is now going to America to coach football and would be getting paid for it, do I need to still pay child maintenance ? also when he comes back in September he will be going to university and he will be 20 by then .
my oldest daughter is still in college and is 17yrs so I'm paying child maintenance for her, but she has moved out of her mothers house into her partners home and so, she is working part time and college. I do pay her some money as I'm happy to. But do I still need to pay child Maintenance to her mother?
if going by CMS/HMRC rules, child benefit stops if child moves out of carees home and moves in with partner

child maintence ends once child starts university.
