Hi all.
Anyone had an annual review yet with the new rules about assets? I’ve been saving for my daughters UNI and have over the amount limit of savings, but don’t know if they will ask.
Thank you for raising this, it was not on my radar. So sorry I cannot help advise, but I am interested in any comments. I have my divorce settlement now and waiting to buy a house with the proceeds, but am intending to wait for what may be a Brexit meltdown after March and falling prices - do not want to buy at the top of the market.
If this means I should buy a house sooner rather than later then it will be important to me.
Thanks
I've tried to look at the legislation, but it is not clear. I still think it is the NRP's responsibility to let the department know of these assets.

That's quite an interesting document, certainly in relation to arrears.
