Hi all

i have 2 daughters from my previous marriage, my eldest came to live with me 7 weeks ago.My ex still wants money from me even though we have one child each.Do i have to pay if so what is the amount or is there a guidline?

Hi There,

How it will be worked out is on your wage, you will pay a percentage of you wage to your ex for your daughter that lives with her, and in return she will pay a percentage of her wage to you for your daughter that lives with you.

This seems a mad way of working it out as you would think it would just be easier to cancel it all and neither of you pay the other, but CSA is worked out on wage so if you earn more than your ex you would pay more to her than she would to you and the same if she earns more than you she would pay a greatere amount.
